Hmm… Seems like I’m lazy again. Checked my last post and it was posted more than one month ago. ^^; Been busy meeting friends and attending company’s events for the past few weeks. Always felt tired when I reached home, but I still go to facebook almost everyday. ^^;

Only went to AFA 09 on Saturday. One day’s admission fee is 3 times of last year’s. =_=

Not sure which Gundam is this, but looks really awesome.

Lovely figma Mirai. Will order one when available. Will be great if she comes with the bicycle. WANT!!! I want both of them!!!

The maid cafe. Always have a long queue at the entrance, but I’m not interested with maid cafes in Singapore. Not really sure why.

Two famous people spotted. Felt a bit sorry for the GSC boss. When I took photo with him, people started to notice his present. In the end, he had to walk away from the booth and crowd while waiting for Danny. ^^;

I think I have the potential to be a stalker or paparazzi. Hehe. This photo looks as though the uncle on the left is in love with Danny at first sight. ^^

The MC of AFA 09 as Yui from K-ON. She can’t really move away from one spot as many people wants to take photos with her. Me wanted too, but looking at her situation I gave up the idea. She looks tired and eager to get out of that spot.

Will watch Summer Wars when it’s aired in Singapore. Those were drawn by the director. Never know the director could draw too. ^^

The pretty Alodia. Didn’t watch the cosplay competition, but did watch it on youtube. Her witchblade costume looks good.

Thanks to Passerby B for pushing me towards Danny and got this photo taken. Danny said that he had seen me somewhere. Not sure whether he really remembers me for attending his blogger workshop last year or because that I look like any other otaku in the event. ^^

And of course the main highlight of AFA 09 is the live concert performance. Don’t say that you went to AFA if you didn’t go to the live concert. Great performance by Shokotan, Miku and Aniki. Too bad I missed the performance by May’n and Yoshiki Fukuyama on the next day. Really love the songs from Macross Frontier.

And this is what I bought from the event. The ‘I love anisong’ normal edition T-shirt. Was told that this was the last M-size black version.

Postcards from GSC. Manage to get autograph from the GSC boss, Aki Takanori. But I don’t really know what he signed.

I still have many photos, but I think it’s just the repeat of those posted at other blogs. So that’s all.

SuperStar Virgo Cruise Trip

Was on a cruise trip from 14 to 16 Oct. It’s the second time that I’m on a cruise. The first was more than 10 years ago. As mentioned earlier, it’s a 2D2N trip at SuperStar Virgo. This is at level 12 where the jacuzzi, water slide and swimming pool are. The slide is fun, but I end up injuring my leg when I try to get out of the water. =_=

Back to day 1. Though the check-in and boarding time is 8pm and 8.30pm, we start queuing around 6.40pm. When it’s nearer to the check-in time, the queues start to get longer and the whole place is pack with people. Can’t imagine how the place will be when it’s during the peak season.

This is the library in the ship. Looks very classy and comfortable.

However, the internet usage seems a bit limited and expensive.

The layout and finishes of the whole ship looks classy. This is the Galaxy Of The Stars. You are able to see the sea view, sunrise and sunset here while drinking. There’s also an area in the middle for people to dance. The Captain’s bridge is just below here.

This is our room. It’s quite small, but is still able to squeeze the three of us in. We chose the cheapest room without window, so the drawing on the wall is our ‘window’. ^^; As our room is quite close to the engine room, we could hear a bit of the engine noise at night.

This is the main lobby of the ship. There will be live performance in front of the three horse statues from time to time. This is also the area where we pay our bill at the end of the trip.

The Lido. It’s a theater for live performances in the ship. We also collect passports here, but it’s only for Singaporean. =_= Foreign passports have to be collected at Galaxy Of The Stars.

Star Navigator shows info and schedule of different restaurants, activities and live performances. Will be given one copy by the cabin crew each day. If you need more, you will have to get it from the main lobby.

One of the restaurants. We always go to those restaurants that doesn’t need to pay additional money. There are different varieties of food from different restaurants such as Chinese, Western, Buffet, Vegetarian, Japanese and Thai.

We watched Justice Bao (包青天) for two of the days in our room. ^^; It’s an old Taiwan show in Mandarin, but the one shown here was dubbed in Cantonese.

The ship will stop at Port Klang during the second day. Star Pisces happen to stop next our ship. You can go for land tour at Malacca, but you will need to pay additional money. If not, you can call for a taxi at Port Klang and go to Kuala Lumpur.

On the way to Port Klang. There’s no souvenir to buy, only food products that I can get in Singapore and Johor Bahru.

There are different board games that you can borrow from the Activity Center at level 12. We spent some time playing snake & ladders, jigsaw puzzles and Uno. Too bad there are always missing pieces in the jigsaw puzzles. There’s a Manjong Room beside the Activity Center, but mostly are aunties and uncles playing inside.

There’s a arcade center in the ship. This game seems to be new. You will have to use the stick to hit the screen to destroy the ghosts. Will have to move the stick in circles to charge power. By watching Passerby B play, I know this is a tiring game.

We played the Bingo games in two days, but no luck of winning anything. We use the toothpick to mark out those called numbers by poking a hole.

Woke up early for both mornings to see the sunrise, but seems like I have no luck. It rains during the first morning and the sky was cloudy during the second morning. Could only see some reddish orange lights, but no sight of the sun. T^T

If you want to escape from your normal stressful life, then this could be a good idea. You will be treated well by the staffs in the ship, who are mostly foreign workers. But be prepared to pay some additional money at the end of the cruise trip, either due to gambling at the casino or buying souvenirs in the ship.

Going To Cruise…

Will be going to cruise later in the evening. It’s a 2D2N cruise to Malaysia in Star Cruise’s SuperStar Virgo. Seems like my bag is a bit too much for a 2D2N cruise. ^^; And what’s on top of the bag?

It’s one of our 3 pet tortoises. It has been staying with us for almost 15 years, but we still haven’t give it a name. ^^;

Will post some photos of the cruise trip when I’m back.

Stuff From Hobby Link Japan

It has been a while since I post something, and even longer that I post something about figures. Yesterday, my brother opened a small box from Hobby Link Japan. We decide to order because of the free shipment fee promotion organised by Hobby Link Japan. Though there are not many things that I want, but I still manage to grab some.

First off is Luffy from a One Piece X Panson Works collaboration. Saw many Panson Works collaboration figures and feel like getting one. This Luffy is the smaller version of this. He’s around 10cm tall, which is around a Nendoroid height. Only his hands can be moved and you need to move his hand forward to make him stand on his own. If not, he will keep falling down due to his heavy head. The material is PVC, but it can be squeeze like a rubber. Maybe because he’s a rubber man. ^^

The back view. A simple figure without much details. Do like such figures sometimes.

Next is Rei from Petit Eva. Saw this with discount and it’s an instant want for me. She’s also has the height of a Nendoroid. None of her body parts can be moved, but her head can be detached. Not sure whether the head can be fitted on a Nendoroid body. Also want Asuka, but was already sold out when we start to order.

Not sure what are those circles on her hair. She needs the block as a support to let her stand.

Comparing the size of both. Will be better if I place a Nendoroid besides them for comparison, but I’m lazy to take it out from the box. ^^; Maybe next time.

This is the Nyan-Nyan card case. Initially, I plan to use this as a container for my coins, which I will carry along when I go out. But after looking at it, I feel that keeping name cards with it is still the better choice. I like the Nyan-Nyan design.

And I finally get hold of Nendoroid Petit Lucky Star Season 1, which I wanted for a long time. Got it from Hobby Search. Now I need to get hold of Nenodoroid Petit The Idolmaster Stage 2 too.

去圣淘沙！

虽然上次我们没能去成，但这次我们终于成功地踏上这在新加坡本岛南方的小岛。不过倒是很热，因为我们中午才抵达这南方小岛。

我们是从 Vivo City 搭短程捷运到这英比奥站的。现在这捷运暂时只有3个站。

圣淘沙的鱼尾狮。不过这鱼尾狮有‘天线’。难道是传说中的天线宝宝?呵呵。。。

要是你不知道鱼尾狮从哪来，就请读这。

有点畸形的心形。

有点可怕又欠扁的鸟。那虫竟在它嘴里笑。 =_=

我们在这试拍一些‘回萌一笑’的照片，但这回萌一笑才棒。你看得到吗？

路人乙说这些像某种动漫里的‘触手’，只缺一位女主角。

许多小孩都在这戏水。不过我倒觉得有点危险。

这时我们时不时都在看的地图。虽是个小岛，但要走完也不容易。

南方小岛就是要看到蓝天与大海。但这里的大海有很多船。

这就是我们搭的捷运电车。

这是我们迟点会搭的 tram。某少爷还提议趁它要停时赶快跳上去。 =_=

这就是所谓的‘与鲨鱼共舞’？是跟大白鲨吗？

不知为何会有人在水族馆外摆摊，而且还是摆蛇。只要你付一些钱，就能与这些蛇拍照。路人乙连看都不敢看。

圣淘沙的水族馆 – 海底世界。

进去之前记得要看一下这些海龟。它们都蛮大只的。

进入海底世界该做的第一件事就是这。摸一些 stingray，小鲨，海星等等。小鲨的触感是粗中带滑，而 stingray 的触感就是滑中带黏。必须摸了才明白我在说什么。结果只有我去摸小鲨与 stingray，某少爷和路人乙都不敢摸。=_=

有如龙的巨鱼，而且还蛮多只的。

有如发出蓝光的八爪鱼。有点诡异的感觉。

日本巨型蜘蛛蟹。让我想起北海道的帝王蟹。好想吃哦。。。

这 unicorn fish 让我想起 One Piece 里的那些奇怪的鱼。

当水母笑时，它们就会有这种表情。呵呵。

海底世界有好多这种慵懒的鲨鱼。是因为不用去找食物的关系？

在海底世界绕了三四圈，结果看到了这爱秀的潜水员。一看到我的相机在对着他，就急忙的摆出 pose。

海底世界的门票也能去 Dolphin Lagoon。我们去的是当天的最后一场。

里头可是人山人海。因为太晒和离海豚太远，我们没清楚看到表演。结果我们看到一半就离开了。不过那些海豚真的是粉红色。

没看到海豚，倒看到了孔雀。这孔雀还跑进观众席里找食物。

一看到沙滩与日落，我就自动地拿出相机拍了。不过太阳还没完全下山，所以夕阳的感觉不够。

某少爷偷拍我这路人甲。

在回 Vivo City 时所拍的。这就是明年将开幕的圣淘沙综合娱乐城的一部分。

我真的很喜欢拍夕阳。看到这我就想说“夕阳无限好，只是近黄昏啊。”

Vivo City 的喷泉。其实我们有拍许多我们自己的照片，但某少爷拒绝我放有她的照片上网。所以我打算只放些风景照。我会放其他的照片在我的 facebook，但还是会没有某少爷的踪影。虽然这次去圣淘沙还蛮累得，不过我们都玩得很愉快。期待下个月我们的 cruise 之旅。
