Haven’t been blogging recently. Seems like my laziness is getting me again. While slacking for the past week, I decide to plan a free and easy trip to Taiwan. Taiwan is actually one of the three countries that I want to go since my student time. The other two are Hong Kong and Japan, which I managed to go during the last two years. There’s also another plan to Japan together with my friend, but don’t think it’s possible for this year with the current economy and H1N1 thing.
Spent the last week looking through brochures that I take in the NATAS fair. Have come up with a itinerary that concentrates on Taipei City. Mainly because I don’t want to spent too much time on traveling between each destination.
Main activities in this trip will be food, food, food, taking photos and some shopping. Plan to go to shops that sell otaku stuffs, but only know that Taipei City Mall (台北地下街) have such shops. Is there other such places? Also hope to include attending events related to otaku culture, but have no idea when these events are held. My initial plan for this trip is to go alone. However, my mum and friends tell me that traveling alone will be boring and lonely, but I feel like trying this for the freedom and experience. Still thinking how to take photographs of myself with the scenery when I go alone.
Everything is still in the planning stage and there will be many changes. Have yet to fix a date and the number of days. And my mum might decide to join in the trip on the day when I buy the air ticket, which really happened for my Japan trip. ^^; Will update more about this trip in the future. Wish to know which place is a must/worth going in Taipei, same goes to the things to do/eat.
