The New Vocaloid Nendoroid

What flavour is the ice cream?

What flavour is the ice cream?

After Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len, Good Smile Company decided to transform another vocaloid into nendoroid form. His name is Kaito from the Vocaloid family. There are not many male nendoroids, which is countable with one hand. I like his scarf which gives a windy feeling and it’s with my favourite colour. The ice cream is also a nice addition. Below is a song which is sang with his voice.

I had being buying nendoroids all this while and is tempted to preorder this too. But due to some reasons, I had yet to preorder it. I hope that it don’t end up like the situation when I wanted to preorder the nendoroid classroom Set A and Set B. As I was busy that time, so I decided to preorder it the next day. In the end, the reservation at Hobby Search was closed just one day after it started!!!

Kaito is available for resevation at Hobby Search and there are more info and pictures of him here.

Good Morning Yomako Sensei!

Beauty in glasses

A beauty in glasses

Yomako Sensei from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is now available for reservation at Hobby Seach. Although I still don’t possess any of Alter’s figures, I’m always impressed with their products. Their figures usually looks good and well painted in every details. I do like her hair even though the colour may not be as red as in the anime. She isn’t in my to buy list as I’m looking forward to Alter’’s Yoko all this time. However, after looking at this finish product, I might need to reconsider.

The retail price is 5,800 yen, but you can get a discount price at Hobby Search. I purchased most of my figures at Hobby Search and would recommend to you if you want to purchase figures online. More info and pictures of this beauty at Alter’s website and here.

The New 108 Heroes Are Here!!!

Suikoden Forever!!!

After waiting for so long, Konami has finally announced a new game for the Suikoden series (Hooray!!!). However, the platform of the game will be Nintendo DS. This is a bad news for people like me who don’t own a DS. T_T

Above is the trailer of the game shown during the TGS 2008. You can see more videos and pictures from their official website. Through watching the trailer, the game will be a mixture of 3D and 2D graphics. It seems like there will be more 2D animation for this game compared to previous releases. The number of people involved during a combat had changed from 6 persons to only 4 persons, which is quite a small group in my opinion. Not sure whether there will be any true runes and a home base in this game. The idea of building a home base, recruiting heroes and even those that appeared in previous releases are the few reasons which attracted me to this series and became a fan of the Suikoden series in the end.

The release date will be 18 Dec 08. Currently, no information on the gameplay and plot are given at the website. Maybe you can get some idea of the story from here. As the game is not named as ‘Suikoden 6′, I assumed that this will be another side story of the main series. But, it will still be something to look forward to for the Suikoden fans.

I would also like to recommend this site to those who are interested about the series. It has a lot of info about the series and gives you a better picture of the Suikoden world.

Memory Power Up!

Attended a one day course on memory power techniques yesterday. The topic might sound boring, but the course ended up quite interesting and I did not fall asleep during the whole course. It teached you ways to improve your memory by using the 4Rs (Repeat, Remember, Retain, Recall) and different techniques to help built up your memory through sound, colour, music, forming pictures in your mind and etc…

The course also teaches you some ways to sharpen your brain. For example, when taking bus or MRT, you can read the advertisement boards outside instead of sleeping. Another way is reading the translation or subtitles while watching a movie or reading the foot notes while watching the news. Important is to keep your mind active. This reminds me that I should watch more anime fansub to sharpen my mind. Maybe I should watch Lucky Star again. Never knew that there was such an advantage while watching anime. Hehe…

Me too!

There are still many more things that I learnt from the course, but I’m lazy to write. ^^;
